Welcome,

My name is JayDee, and I’m thrilled to share my journey and studio with you. Having taught Pilates in Northwest Arkansas for nearly a decade, I’m excited to finally open the doors to my own boutique Reformer studio, right here in Fayetteville.

My background is quite unique. I grew up in a family that trained horses for movies, with my father being a notable Wrangler for MGM. We moved to NWA from California when I was very young where I lived on a working ranch. This upbringing in the horse industry shaped my appreciation for movement, but my true passion led me to work with people instead.

After high school, I ventured into the restaurant business and built a family, but after 15 years, the stress of my dream job began to take its toll. During my sommelier certification, my hair started falling out due to stress, which prompted me to look for change. Pilates had already become a part of my fitness routine, so when an opportunity arose at my local studio, I took it as a sign to shift my focus and start a whole new career.

After making the big leap to Pilates in 2016, I completed my teacher training through Balanced Body with Lisa Webb at Fayetteville Pilates & Barre and later joined Club Pilates as a Lead Instructor. In 2024, everything aligned perfectly, allowing me to take the leap and open Pilates Society NWA (P.S.).

At P.S., we offer a warm and creative atmosphere. Here, you’ll enjoy intimate class sizes, creative flows, and a higher standard of service. We focus on the bodies in front of us, not the next promotion or lead. That’s why you’ll never see us discount our offerings. Instead, I designed Pilates Society NWA so that each year a portion of the profits are reinvested in a way that expands the studio’s services to our students. Your success is our success and then your success again.

I am deeply grateful for the support of my family, students, and colleagues, which has made this endeavor possible. Over the next few months I’m looking forward to being in my element and sharing my passion for teaching with all of you. All the best people do Pilates; I just want to bring them together. And that my friends, is the entire vibe of Pilates Society NWA.
